Our strong relationships with fabric mills and carefully selected factory base, mean we are able to offer tiered pricing and bespoke solutions dependent on customers’ needs and requirements.

Our History
Our Founder, Mr Kindler

Today
AAK was born from Coat manufacturing company I & M Kindler Ltd, established in 1897.
The founding company produced men’s overcoats in the North of England for over one hundred years to a global customer base.
In 1986, reacting to market demands, our Chairman Maurice Kindler, the great-great grandson of the original founder, began producing men’s coats in Southern Italy for the UK and US markets, founding AAK Ltd the same year.
Managing Director, Nathan Helfgott, joined the company from Marks & Spencer in 1995. From this point, our range of products expanded to include Italian made suits, jackets, trousers and shirts as well as outerwear for Marks & Spencer, Harrods, House of Fraser, John Lewis and a selection of key Italian brands.
Today, AAK part own the Italian factory, as well as producing multi-product menswear globally, including in China, Bangladesh and Turkey.
In addition to the customers mentioned above we also supply retailers and brands in the UK and internationally, including Next, Matalan, Very Group, White Stuff, Oliver Sweeney, Slaters, Country Road & Woolworths.
